These two awards are given to the outstanding goalkeeper in women’s and men’s football as voted for by an international jury respectively
On Friday, 7 January, FIFA will unveil the finalists for The Best FIFA Women’s Player and The Best FIFA Men’s Player
The final nominees for The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper and The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper have been revealed; tomorrow, FIFA will announce the finalists in the coaching categories; the virtual awards ceremony will be broadcast live from the Home of FIFA in Zurich on 17 January.
FIFA has announced the finalists for The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper (https://fifa.fans/3FSu9dn) and The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper (https://fifa.fans/333wN1x) awards.
The final three nominees for The Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper are (in alphabetical order):
- Ann-Katrin Berger (Germany / Chelsea FC Women)
- Christiane Endler (Chile / Paris Saint-Germain / Olympique Lyonnais)
- Stephanie Lynn Marie Labbé (Canada / FC Rosengård / Paris Saint-Germain)
The final three nominees for The Best FIFA Men’s Goalkeeper are (in alphabetical order):
- Gianluigi Donnarumma (Italy / AC Milan / Paris Saint-Germain)
- Édouard Mendy (Senegal / Chelsea FC)
- Manuel Neuer (Germany / FC Bayern München)
These two awards are given to the outstanding goalkeeper in women’s and men’s football as voted for by an international jury respectively comprising the current coaches of all women’s/men’s national teams (one per team), the current captains of all women’s/men’s national teams (one per team), one specialist journalist from each territory represented by a national team and fans registered on FIFA.com.

All the winners of The Best FIFA Football Awards™ 2021, including the recipients of the FIFA Fan Award (https://fifa.fans/3HAltsD) and the FIFA Fair Play Award (https://fifa.fans/32JlJqx), will be crowned on 17 January during a TV show broadcast live from the Home of FIFA in Zurich.
Tomorrow (Thursday, 6 January), FIFA will announce the final three nominees for The Best FIFA Women’s Coach (https://fifa.fans/3zqIviR) and The Best FIFA Men’s Coach (https://fifa.fans/3pWA3Vb). On Friday, 7 January, FIFA will unveil the finalists for The Best FIFA Women’s Player (https://fifa.fans/3sZusPP) and The Best FIFA Men’s Player (https://fifa.fans/3G2m9qg) during an online event featuring the FIFA Legends Kristine Lilly and Sami Khedira.
