Safety and security at football matches are big concerns in Africa. In 2019, FIFA (www.FIFA.com) signed a historic memorandum of understanding with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the African Union (AU) on this subject. For the past three years, seminars and workshops devoted to these themes have taken place in the four corners of the Mother Continent. In the West, in Senegal, we have even innovated in this area through the training of 300 stewards.
