PERTH, Australia, March 10, 2023/APO Group/ --

FIFA (www.FIFA.com) Chief Women’s Football Officer Sarai Bareman is currently in Australia for an operational tour of each stadium across all Host Cities. While in Perth / Boorloo, she visited the Unity Pitch at Scarborough Beach Amphitheatre. On July 20, 2022, to celebrate One Year To Go until the Tournament kicked off, FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 unveiled a vibrant, multi-colored pitch inspired by the Tournament values and all the nations it represents. The pitch, named the Unity Pitch, is a patchwork of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ brand colours, reflecting the two unique local cultures of Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand and the coming together of 32 participating nations. The pitch is now on its roadshow of all nine FWWC host cities for community use, awareness and engagement and will be gifted to the host countries as part of FIFA’s commitment to leaving a lasting legacy in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.
