In 2023, the tournament will be returning to Southeast Asia for the first time since Malaysia 1997 and will see players from 24 nations compete for the honour of becoming the game’s future legends.

Weird Genius, rising stars within Asia, have accumulated more than 2.2 million subscribers on YouTube and regularly hit more than 1 million listeners on Spotify every month. They are three-time Anugerah Musik Indonesia award winners, and their hit Lathi was Indonesia’s most-searched-for song on Google last year.

Lyodra, Tiara Andini and Ziva Magnolya were the three finalists in season 10 of “Indonesian Idol” and they are currently trending among the top young superstars in Indonesia. All three have distinctive vocal characters and identities, and their albums and singles have often gone viral, reaching the top of various music and digital-streaming platform charts numerous times.

Between them, they boast over 4.5 million subscribers on YouTube and 17.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify. They have also won an assortment of local and international music awards, such as an Anugerah Musik Indonesia award and a Mnet Asian Music Award.

Discussing Glorious, Weird Genius said: “This is an incredible honour for us, and we can’t wait for the tournament to take over Indonesia later this year. The FIFA U-20 World Cup will be full of young, exciting talent and our song Glorious matches this energy – we want fans across the country to have the same level of anticipation and enthusiasm for this song as they do for witnessing the game’s future legends in the flesh.”
